King’s Fold is pleased to announce our Covid-19 compliant reopening as of Monday, June 15.
Your visit to King’s Fold might feel a little different at first, but your treasured places and experiences are waiting for you. King’s Fold has always been about providing space for people, and now with our dining room tables spread out more than usual, there’s lots of safe space for you.
As government officials have allowed restaurants and other small businesses to open at a reduced capacity, they make it clear that the relative safety of these social interactions is still not absolute safety. We want to live out the safest welcome possible, and have spent a lot of time thinking about how we can minimize risk. As a result, we have established new protocols for food service, housekeeping, and common area sanitation in accordance with public health recommendations. If you would like to read these protocols, we would be happy to email them to you.
This will not be new to you, but we ask that if you have any symptoms (including fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat or runny nose) then please stay home, for now. In order to protect everyone, arriving guests will have their temperature taken, and will be asked health screening questions.
If you are not quite ready for what an overnight stay or shared meal might hold, please know you are also welcome to do a bring-your-own-lunch day retreat for $25.
Ready for a retreat? Call or email – we can hardly wait to see you!
Three kittens joined our community in January. A band of brothers called, “Tigger, Hobbes and Junior” now spend their time exploring their new home. Rocky ensures their safety by defending them against Leila any time she comes near, complete with self-defense lessons. It’s not very often you have to discipline your cat for chasing your dog! Make sure to meet these new community members next time you are here.
