Patmos Now

King's Fold Retreat & Renewal Centre is committed to fostering renewal in the Church.  We seek to do this by providing opportunities for rest, quiet and reflection in order to facilitate connection and dialog with God.  We recognize that often those involved in full time ministry need times of rest and reconnection as much as anyone else.  Building this into the lives of Church leaders is a strategic way to work towards the goal of renewal.  King's Fold has always sought to provide hospitality and resources to pastors, for instance through our "prophet's chambers" - a suite set aside for those in ministry. 

We are launching Patmos Now as a way to strengthen these commitments to the Church and Church leaders.  Patmos Now is an offer to those who are on full time pastoral staff to come for a personal retreat, anytime from Monday to Friday and receive a 15% discount off of our regular fees. 

The idea for Patmos Now comes from three strands of the Apostle John's experience on the Isle of Patmos:  the value of solitude & silence, the revelation of the resurrected and reigning Christ, and the message He brings to the Church.  In keeping with these themes, Patmos Now has an intentional and personalized structure for pastors. This includes orientation to the resources at King's Fold, instruction on silence & retreat as a spiritual discipline, and access to spiritual direction.
