Prayer Walk - The Emmaus Road

The Emmaus Road Prayer Walk weaves through the forest, highlighting how Jesus comes to us today, just as he came to the disciples after the resurrection, on the Road to Emmaus. 

Today you are on the Emmaus Road - I'm on the Emmaus Road. All God's children are on the Emmaus Road, not only today, but every day - the Emmaus Road calls us - it's the road of wonderment, discovery, pain, joy, enlightenment... 

It's on the Emmaus Road that Jesus comes alongside and offers us a new slant on life, another way to look at things - in the end our eyes are opened and we see Jesus. 

Then he disappears; he leaves us to assimilate the new truth he has offered us into our everyday life.
