Our Chapels
Main Chapel
On September 1, 2002, many people gathered for the sod turning celebration for our new chapel. On October 12, 2003, we celebrated King’s Fold’s 25th Anniversary by dedicating this enchanting little chapel on the crest of the Ghost River.
Intriguing board walks lead one to beautifully hand carved doors which invite you into a uniquely shaped sanctuary graced with carefully crafted post and beam architecture. In the center of the chapel is a magnificent stone altar.
A short climb up the spiral stairs brings you to the prayer loft, from which the altar and cross are visible - a wonderful sacred space for prayer and personal meditation. Three stunning stain glass windows enhance the already sacred atmosphere of the entire chapel.
As well, there is an enclosed prayer garden attached to the chapel.
The chapel and prayer garden have become an expression of all we stand for and promote at King’s Fold. Staff and our many guests are invited to experience ...
- a quiet place for prayer and spiritual reflection
- a place to come aside to experience personal and small group worship
- a place nestled in the centre of God’s creation to hear him speak
- a place for repentance, renewal and growth
- a place to experience the wonder of the Divine One and to touch again that inner silence
- a place to prepare for reentry into a busy world with a heart rejuvenated and quieted.

Chapel in the Woods
Set off from the main retreat area is a wonderful little chapel. This inviting spot is situated along the ridge with views to both the east and the west. With stained glass windows and rock work on the walls, the chapel is a great space for prayer and reflection - both inside and outside.
